Working with Customer Accounts

BOA Field gives you access to your customer database so you can look up account details while in the field.

Finding an Account

  1. Tap the Accounts tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Use the search bar to find customers by name, phone number, or account number
  3. Tap a result to open the full account detail

Account Details

Each account page shows:

  • Contact information — Name, phone, email, address
  • Service history — Past service orders for this customer
  • Open orders — Any active or pending work
  • Notes — Account-level notes and special instructions
  • Balance — Outstanding invoice balances (if applicable)

Creating Notes

  1. Open an account
  2. Scroll to the Notes section
  3. Tap Add Note
  4. Enter your note — it will be timestamped with your name

Navigating to a Customer

If the customer has an address on file, you can tap the address to open it in your phone's map app for directions.

Tips

  • Check account notes before arriving at a job site for special instructions
  • Review service history to understand past work done for the customer
  • Account data syncs from the BOA server — if you don't see recent changes, try syncing in Settings
  • You cannot edit core account details (name, address, etc.) from the mobile app — use the BOA desktop application for account management
